onion – 1/4 kg, salt – 1/2 tsp, red chillies – 4, urud dal – 4 tsp, tamarind – 1/2 inch piece, oil – 3 tsp.
In 1 tsp oil, roast red chillies and urud dal. Chop onions, add other ingredients and grind coarsely.
