Lemon Aval

Rice flakes – 1 cup, salt to taste. 1/2 lemon
Wash the aval and drain the water. If aval is hard Keep aside for 15-20 minutes. If the aval is soft keep aside for 2 – 5 minutes.In a kadai in 3 tsp refined oil, add mustard seeds, urud dal, gram dal, asafoetida, a pinch turmeric powder and chopped green chillies. Add aval and cook for 2 min. Add salt and lemon juice. Garnish with fresh curry leaves.
